One of the chargers I bought for my phone completely messed up the port in which it plugs in to. I'm not sure if it was this one or not, but I have an LG shine and the motherboard had to be replaced. I would recommend making sure the cable fits properly before using it.

    Hope this helps!

Otherwise service and pricing were great!

Cable works perfectly as a data sync and charging cable for my LG VX8350.
Lowest shipped price I have found.
Great find as it is very difficult to identify these LG cables that do BOTH USB data AND USB charging.

I have an LG CU575 phone and thought this cable was all I needed to transfer the video and images from phone to computer. Not so, but the cable works great and was a fantastic deal at $0.01 + shipping. However the cable will not work with this type of phone UNLESS you have a memory card already in the phone.

It took about an hour of trying to install the driver, uninstall, trying a different computer, different driver downloaded from the Internet, etc. before I noticed the message on my phone - which only appeared momentarily, so I kept missing it -- that I need to have a memory card when using the USB cable connection. (By the way, another plus for the cable, is that it provides one more option for charging your phone since it charges when plugged into the computer.) I didn't see this in the description but mine came with a mini-CD that contained the drivers needed for the types of phones used with this cable.

So a quick trip to the shopping conglomerate and $10 later, equipped with my Micro SD Premium (Cell Phone Flash Memory) card in place, I began to move my data onto the card. I could not find an efficient one-step way to move all the files, but this method worked for me, so here you go:

Step 1: Put the Micro SD card into the phone; the metallic strips face up. This is the slot in the upper right corner. Push it in until it clicks into place.

Step 2: On the cell phone, go to Menu > My Stuff > (and in my example) 5 or Video > this will show you all the video files on your phone.

Step 3: Highlight the video you want to add to the card, and select Options (right screen menu) > 4 or Move > 2 or Memory Card > then Paste (left screen menu). You should see a little graphic showing you the file is moving and get a "completed" confirmation message.

This will put all the files at the root of the card. You can reorganize them later from your computer.

Step 4: To continue moving files one at a time, hit Cancel once on the phone, then you should be back at the phone's Video folder where you started.

Under the phone's Video menu, so you can discern which have been moved to the Micro SD and which are still on the phone, look for the little blue data card icon to the right of the filename. Once you are finished moving all the files to the SD card, then connect the phone to the computer using the USB cable and voila! all files you moved pop up in a new browser window. At this point, you can move the files onto your computer or other storage device, reorganize them, etc. You may need to wait for all the icons to load fully before manipulating them on your computer. Have fun!
