I went with a good little point and shoot (panasonic Lumix 12X 25mm wide angle), but cheaped out on the card...never again...am going for a FASTER 30mb/sec card... I missed some great shots because of the slow speed...

I don't have any issue with this product. I have a Dell laptop which I bought just 2 years ago which has dual processor and I use this with my Cannon AS650 camera which also a late release of 2007 product plus the Creative Zen player also late 2007 release. Everything works well with these products I have and read write in great speed, I can't tell how much faster can one expects but it seems perfect for me. I have this for over a year now with no issues at all and I use it with my camera and laptop many times a week.

I have had a 4gb class 6 card from this manufacturer for over a year now and it is still going strong with steady use, so hopefully this 8 gb card will match it. Out of the box it works well with my Canon T1i. I also had a 4gb PNY card (class 4) labeled for HD video and it did not keep up with the 720p video recording the T1i was doing. This 8gb transcend class 6 card did make a noticeable difference in performance when recording video. With a lot of cameras now giving you the option to record in HD go with a class 6 or better from the get go. At under 20 bucks a good deal as most local retailers near me don't carry class 6 cards.

I recently bought a Canon Camera and took pictures at many events only to find I still had plenty of storage space available. This is a very good memory card and would recommend if you have an SLR Camera and don't have time to keep saving information after every event.

I bought this as a replacement while my [censored brand] was being replaced, and this thing works like a charm. I'm not sure how long I have owned it at this point, but it has NEVER had a data error, crash, or even tweaked like the other [censored brand] has done (the replacement too!).
