This unit will do the job for you and the price is decent. However, if you are using it with a Golflogix 8, you will need to drill a 5/8 inch hole in the back of the device. That is because the golflogix has a button on the back which is used to connect to a belt clip if you wear it on a belt. When you insert it into this holder, it will not fit because of this button.
I called this to the attention of the manufacture and apparently they do have the proper bracket for the golflogix, but they were not very helpful in getting this straightened out for me. From what I understand however, you may have a better bracket by drilling a hole in the back of this one than getting the correct bracket. I would suggest a little homework before making a purchase as I did purchase this item about 10 months ago and things may have changed.

Bought both the Garmin Golflogix GPS and the so-called suction cup cart mount. Doesn't fit. Waste of money.

A very sturdy holder, but I had to drill a hole in it in order to put the GPS in it. Either that or I would have to remove the small peg on the back of the GPS, that clips to the belt holder. It seems like a good value.

The mount that I purchased for my Golflex GPS is the nicest mount that I have seen. All on my friends who have other Golf GPS's withother mounts are checking out to see if they can getone like mine. A fine quality product and a great price.

not GOOD it dose not fit you have to modify the holder to get the GPS in it the belt holder stud wont let it fit together
