Forget about those expensive monster cables. This one gets the job done for a fraction of the cost. Think about it, its transferring a digital signal, the signal either gets there or it doesn't. There is no need to spend more money on cables when you can buy this one.

This cable works as well as a more expensive cable, except it has a slightly odd shaped connecting end. The cable works fine with my PS3, my DVD player and my receiver, but for some reason it will just not connect rightly with the XBOX 360. It seems like it is missing the right molding to snap into the 360's optical output port.

It is was i was looking for.
A cheap optical cable that wil deliver great sound.
It feels and seem as a quality product and it realy delivers quality sound.

This cable works fine for me, with three different machines of varying ages. Make sure you remove the rubber tip protecting the connector before plugging in. Also, there is a little nubbin on the side that will keep the cable in place. If the cable is not secure, then you may need to push it in a little farther (GENTLY) until the cable is in all the way.
Also, note that the digital inputs are not oriented all the same way. You may need to rotate the plug 90 degrees for it to fit.

The cable is great. Everything seems to be working perfectly. I was a little discourage to spend more $$ to buy yet another cable to hook up all the things that came with the new flat screen TV. But I refused to pay the $50 for the one I found in the store was willing to gamble on the $3 with shipping on this one. Once I realized there was a cap on the end of the cable everything worked great. I didn't come with any instructions or pictures and I didn't look at the expensive cable that closely before I tried to hook up and I began to think it wasn't going to fit. The cable we received did not have a cap with a holder on it like the one in the picture does now. But I am thrilled that it is working.
