A cable is a cable. whether you throw down $5 or a $100 for a digital cable it doesn't matter. This cables' quality is stunning to say the least, and it is just as good as the expensive ones. Don't get conned into squandering away your money on fancy cables. These are recession times.

This is amazing! I bought this beauty of a cable for one dollar! Of course it was $4.99 to ship, but compared to Monster and other Brands... No Contest! 5 Amazingly beautiful golden stars for this purchase. I ordered on Friday and Received the following Monday. Plain Yellow Envelope with the goods sealed in saran wrap plastic inside. I immediately hooked it up to my monitor and began writing this review.
DVI-D is digital, so as long as the signal makes it from point A to point B, it will be perfect. Degradation or loss of signal is not an option with digital connections such as HDMI or DVI-D. For this very reason, I am never going to buy Monster again.
I have 3 years experience installing A/V equipment, and in those days I also sub contracted for Firedog. I would buy inexpensive cables like these to stock my truck for those customers who forgot to buy HDMI/DVI/VGA or whatever. The customers were always a bit skeptical at first, but when it's all said and done, and that 1080p picture is popping eyeballs, they never complain.
Take it from me... NEVER BUY EXPENSIVE CABLES!
