Developed jointly by Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo and wrestling game developer Yuke's, Rumble Roses is a powerhouse combination with intense wresting action, sexy female models, audacious poses and bold moves - all delivered with state-of-the-art graphics. Rumble Roses also features an advanced combat system that allows players to develop unique styles for their wrestlers. Players are able to change the personalities of their wrestlers through their actions in the ring, which then translates into changes in costume, attitude, and wrestling style options. Insults and taunts prove a lot more important here than in your typical wrestling title too, and many of the maneuvers are said to leave opponents in, what we will call, "compromising positions". « short desciption

First off, I'm not a huge fan of fighter games, although I had my run with Killer Instinct back in the day which I loved. I guess it's just the fact of being a man, but something about women in skimpy outfits brawling it out is awesome. The game has awesome graphics, a nice selection of characters, and while it's not the DOA2:HC I was looking for, for the price, you can't go wrong (WAY cheaper than DOA2 at the time of this review). All in all, if you like girls with attitude, hot bodies, and brutal beatdowns, you'll love this. If you've upgraded to the Xbox360 though, it may be a better buy to get Rumble Roses XX. But I still like my PS2 the most.

Yeah, It's like a supermodel reality gone bad! The only reason I didn't give it a five is because it's on my archaic PS2.

I was never sure about purchasing this game. The openly perv factor of the game made me a little embarrased to play.

But despite the sexuality of the games and characters stories, it's a solid pro-wrestling game! Serious moves, great submissions, and outstanding finishing moves makes this game a must for serious pro-wrestling fans.

Yes, the chicks look real good in this game. But the game is not all about sex appeal. The wrestling aspect is also very good. I liked the variety of moves, just when you think you have seen it all you accidentally hit a nice combo and your girl bends and buckles the other poor little girl into a pretzel.

I admit, at first my intention was to see nice looking CGI chicks do mud wrestle, well, it still is. What can I say, I prefer playing with fine looking females rather than ugly, hairy men considering the moves are almost identical in wrestling games.

My main complaint is the game shows its age. Since they released Rumble Roses XX for Xbox 360 there is no hope that they will release it for PS3, dang!

    Update:

The year is now 2009. I downloaded the demo of WWE on PS3. I see no reason to give up my RR and pay 50 bucks for WWE. You would think the graphics will be lightyears away but no. Girls still look better than those overgrown, well, whatever... You get the idea.
