Since then, government forces have managed to control the zombie threat and Leon has become a Federal agent. When the President's daughter is kidnapped, Leon tracks her to a remote, hidden fortress in Europe - where he'll relive the horror he faced six years before. I like the new take on Resident Evil Capcom has decided to go with. This is unlike any resident evil I have ever played. Killing "Zombies" is actually a part of the storyline and you even get points for doing it. The upgrades you get from the merchant are nice. And even though there is a lack of the T-virus, I still get a sense of fear and terror from all new villains and monsters.
I can't wait to try this on the wii, because the PS2 version is stil pretty fun.

This is best game ever you have to find Ashley Graham and you have to solve a mystery as well and buy the .45 magnum it's a strong gun

The best game I ever played. With the cool graphics,sound effects,funny quotes(preferably between Salazar and Leon)and gameplay,this game is a masterpiece.Sometimes I even play this just to see the jaw-dropping back-ground effects and architecture.This game is even better than grand theft auto hands down.

I have never played Resident Evil 4 before but heard of the many great things about it. I went ahead to try the game and my views are totally opposite of the many who played it. I was expecting more of a horror survival game like the previous Resident Evil 1-3. Apparently they changed the game almost entirely and it swayed more to the action and not the horror side.
This game did not scare me as much as the first 3, very rarely was I scared at all. The camera and aiming has changed to a non-horror type view. The graphics also changed and it does not look like the original horror painting style graphics of the first 3 Resident Evil games. The bullets are much easier to find and you no longer have that urge to conserve ammunition as much as the previous games. There are also fewer zombies, and many of the zombie types are just big mutated monsters that don't look like zombies at all.
From the drastic changes they've done to this game, the storyline no longer connects to the unique style the game was. It was difficult for me to forsee the story as I play along because the horror was no longer there for me, the zombies were no longer there for me. It was like playing a entirely new game that contains the same storyline as another game but does not seem to have that magic touch that makes Resident Evil so beautiful.
I was disappointed beyond words, now I can no longer look at a Resident Evil game and say that is my favorite series and none has went to disappoint me. This game is very disappointing, I was a huge fan of the first 3 due to it's unique style that wreaked of horror, this is not for me as it no longer contain that unique style of horror. This game may be good but not the type of good for me. If you can feel what I am feeling and agree, than you can skip this game. Other than that, it is great for the many who enjoyed it or didn't enjoy the previous Resident Evil's and wanted to give this a try.

This game is incredible. I can't even count how many times I have been scared out of my wits playing this! There are a lot of freaky unexpected surprises, and nothing is ever predictable or repetitive. Basically, it's scary and will get your adrenaline going.
This is probably one of the best horror/action games around. High re-play value.
