As cheap as this product is, I can't complain too much. However, based on the limitations, you may be just as well off to download the free version from the Quickbooks website. I tried downloading the software, but had trouble opening the file so I just purchased this product as I didn't care about the low cost. I can summarize this product with the following:
1) For full disclosure, I'm a CPA so I know my debits and credits, so I probably have an easier time using this product than a novice trying to manage the books on a start-up company. If all you need to do is setup invoices and track customer balances, then perhaps this product will meet your expectations. However, this product cannot even handle accounts payable without doing manual journal entries, so unless you are knowledgeable with your debits and credits, I suggest upgrading to a better version. I purchased the software for a small start-up and as a warning I basically do all manual journal entries with the exception of writing invoices and managing accounts receivables. All expenses, including cost of goods sold, fixed assets, cash payments, accounts payable, loans, etc. are all manual journal entries as the software doesn't allow for these items without upgrading to a better software
2) Intuit is rather annoying in all their sales pitches. Not only is the software itself embedded with more advertisements than true helpful material, but just to register the product leads to additional sales pitches by an off-shore call center. Not to mention (AND ANOTHER WARNING!!!), if you plan on using this software on multiple computers, then don't bother! You can only download the software onto one computer at a time. If you get a new computer, I was told that you have to uninstall the program from the original computer before you can download the software on the new computer. I was kindly told this AFTER I already registerd the product with the off-shore call center agent.
That's about it. It's an extremely simplistic software which is part of its problem and doesn't need much more discussion. Good luck if you decide to purchase.

This was an excellent buy! product was new, sealed and upc code in place. I received it in a matter of about 4 days which worked out perfectly as I needed it almost immediately.

We got this to help us with a small personal contracting business. My partner is relatively computer illiterate and they couldn't make heads or tails of this product, but for me after spending a little time it became relatively easy to figure out the basics. We got this product on sale for some where around $25 and it worth it for that, but knowing its usability and its relative limitations we would not have paid $99 for it.
