I have a Dell studio xps 1340, recently upgraded to Windows 7. Mouse did not detect initially because windows 7 upgrade skipped upgrading bluetooth drivers. I went to dell support site, installed bluetooth update and all set.
Mouse detected instantly, installed in seconds. Working perfectly. Scroll wheel is good, mouse size is not too big not too small. Sensitivity is very good, I had to reduce pointer speed from control panel. The extra button works as back button in IE/Windows Explorer. 2 AAA energizer batteries included and a nice black pouch.
Overall I'm pretty satisfied for the price I paid. I'm happy that I did not buy the expensive logitech m555b for 60$.

I was looking for a mouse to use with my both mac and pc notebooks. This mouse is awesome. its size and weight are perfectly calculated, no dongle needed and is really turn on and play. REALLY HAPPY.

It's small, but not uncomfortably so. I think Microsoft made a nice compromise between usability and portability in this regard. The scroll wheel is clicky, but works well. Tracking has been outstanding: I've used it on cloth, wood, and plastic and have yet to fool it. It's easy to hold, attractive, and works well. The neoprene case that ships with it was more substantial than I expected...a really nice touch! It also included Energizer batteries instead of some cheap brand that I've never heard of.
Getting it to communicate with my notebook was simple. In the four days I've been using it, it has never dropped its connection. I appreciate the back button and have not missed the inclusion of a forward button. I do miss horizontal scrolling, but did not expect it at this price point.
Really, for $33 I don't see how I could have done better.

This is our first venture into the world of "Bluetooth" technology. We're not quite sure what to expect, but thus far we've been quite pleased. The mouse & our new laptop (a Dell Studio 17) synched up easily when I followed the instructions & we've experienced no problems. If I have any complaints at all, it is that I have a little larger hand than my wife & the mouse fits her hand better than mine. That, and I'm used to something with a bit more 'heft' to it. This mouse is light as a feather, which no doubt will delight some users. As to battery life; we haven't really had it long enough to arrive at any real conclusion. However, we have left it on overnight a couple of times and it has not shown any sign of weak performance as yet (we've been using it on & off for about 1 month). From our experience to date, we wouldn't hesitate to purchase another if we had another laptop that was Bluetooth capable.
