This card is designed for people who use Photoshop and other graphics applications. It does not have 3D features like other cards designed for gamers, so it will not score well in Vista which uses 3D for the Aero interface. It has 2 digital video outputs and is great for dual monitors in Photoshop and Lightroom 2.0. It has been around for awhile so you need to download the latest drivers and update the bios if necessary. I use it's big brother the Parhelia, and it renders awesome sharp colors and speeds up Photoshop.

I bought this card and hoped it would help me with my Vista install blinking when I did something that required more graphics horse power. I had tested using Vista's Windows experience and the card I had rated a 2. That was bad so I bought this card and now it's rated 1. I use AutoCAD and now I have to replace this card as it didn't hold up. I couldn't find a review of it and bought it on faith. New something was not going to work right for me when I saw the dates on the install disk were from April 2005. I went to the Matrox site and got the latest drives but the firmware is out of date as well.

So steer clear of this dud.
