Great for videoconferencing via iChat and Skype on my Mac Mini. Zero setup and the microphone captures sounds perfectly clearly even when talking from the next room over. I've never had any problems with echoes or interference.

I'm not one to write reviews, so this will be short. I used to try to make my Orbit AF work with my Mac. It was a headache and half the time I would spend up to an hour trying to get it even work. Then came along Snow Leopard and that was the complete ending of my hate affair with trying to make the Logitech Orbit AF work with my Mac.
So after a little research I took the leap of faith and bought the Logitch QuickCam Vision Pro for Mac from Amazon. I say "little" as there really isn't any other options that I could find. As always, Prime shipping is quick and saves me a bundle. But the best part of the news is about the new webcam.
I plugged it in and it works flawlessly. No software drivers. No hassle. No problems whatsoever. And the video is really really good. I'm not sure about the sound, as I use a Blue Snowball for that anyway. I miss a few of the features of the Orbit AF, as in auto tracking when I move -- but the fact that it works immediately after plugging it in, is the greatest thing since sliced bread. No seriously, I'm really glad I made the purchase. I can use Skype again on my Mac. I really didn't want to spend that much on a webcam, but now I sprung the bucks for it, I'm really happy that I did.

Sure you plug it in and it just works, only after you change the settings to work with iChat and Skype.
This camera is not built to work with Apple Macs, Native:
Video does not work in Photobooth unless you hack it and still bad quality.
Does not work in web browser site, YouTube, uStream, etc, ask Logitech support.
Does not work with iMovie or quicktime unless you hack it.
Does not work on video applications.
This web cam uses no drivers so only works with iChat & Skype that use basic USB video driver. This camera is only has basic functionality, it is NOT a replacement or equal to Apple Mac built web cams. Now some of you might say, the lens is better! sure but with out drivers this and any web cam connected to a MAC will only do basic video and work only in certain applications.
I have given up finding a Apple Mac web cam, Apple just is not compatible with NONE of the web cams for sale. Apple wants you to buy a Mac with camera built in or don't use a web cam.
Don't believe me? ask a Apple store genius which web cams work with iMovie or are a 100% replacement for built Apple iSight web cams and see what they say. NONE.
Bottom line - Get a Mac with built web cam or you will have a horrible experience with this or any other web cam on Apple Macs.

This camera was quick to install (no drivers) and delivers excellent sound and video. Would recommend. We use it to do web chats with family and it is perfect for that.
