HD TV with 3 HDMI inputs, HD satellite receiver, A/V receiver, Blu-ray player, DVD recorder, Laserdisc player, videotape, and cassette player. I had no trouble manipulating all of the remotes and reconfiguring the TV inputs for whatever I wanted to watch, but my wife -- who rarely got to practice with the remotes like I did -- was stymied. I thought a universal remote would be a nice thing for her. After two days of use, I'm asking myself "How did I ever get along without this myself?" It really works! Set-up was easy. I installed the software on my computer, entered the brands and models of all of my components and then configured the remote automatically via the enclosed USB cable. If the software doesn't recognize a particular component, the Logitech remote can "learn" from another remote. I had to do this with my oldest component - a Panasonic DVD recorder. It was a breeze. Properly configured, a single touch on the LCD screen will turn on the components you want to use for a specific purpose (watch satellite, DVD, etc.) AND sets the TV to the correct input. Except for the DVR functions on the DirecTV satellite receiver, the Logitech remote also controls all of the functions for each component. Want to switch from one source to another? One touch will turn on the new source and (if necessary) change the input on the TV as well. I like the fact that it uses a rechargeable battery and sits in a charging cradle. I absolutely love this remote. (My wife loves it too.)

This products has successfully changed how i view my entertainment system. I have a mixture of old and new electronics comprising my entertainment system. all of these products are now controlled solely by this universal remote control. It was simple to setup, with a little bit of know how i was able to customize it to do whatever i want it to do with no issues.
The only downside is it has a learning curve. My girl friend was initially afraid of it because it was big black with lots of buttons. But even she can now navigate with ease. I HIGHLY suggest this product for anybody with a huge array of remote controls and no where to put them!

As my header states, in short, this is a great item!
I had the Harmony Remote for the XBox 360 and the Harmony One blows it out of the water. The buttons are easier to find and they feel more sturdy than with the Xbox Remote. I found that the volume and channel buttons on the XBox remote would stick and/or not register. The Harmony One remote is sleek, very ergonomic, and does everything you want it to.
One side note - the help function actually helps the remote learn if it's doing something wrong. My other remote wouldn't actually learn while this one seems to do so.
Setup is pretty darn easy but I feel that I was at an advantage because I had already played with the software b/c I own the XBox Harmony remote. The only frustrating thing that I've noticed (and maybe I'm doing something wrong), but I noticed that you can only have one remote per profile. Regardless, this isn't so bad.
Again - it's a great remote and I doubt that I'll find something wrong with it. If I do, I'll be updating this.

I've been an Audio/Video aficionado for a very long time, and multiple remotes never intimidated me. Indeed, most times I preferred original remotes to programming into OEM remotes that could learn commands of other components. But I thought I'd give the Harmony a try and see if I liked the concept.
Wow, even if you're technically savvy and don't have issues determining the proper settings for various components, you'll find the Harmony One extremely convenient and loads of fun to tweak to your own custom usage.
After some hours, I pretty much have it set up for the way I'll view/listen to TV, TIVO, Blu-ray, HD DVD, SACD/DVD-Audio, and iPod.
The unit is very intuitive to set up using your PC and in most cases you'll use a Wizard to set up Activities such as "Watch TV", "Watch a DVD", etc. In the case where you may need more functionality than is contained in the Wizard or Logitech's database, you can learn commands into the Harmony and label them any way you want.
The cool thing about the Harmony One is you can set the buttons and touch screen independently for "Activities" vis a vis the actual components or "Devices" as it calls them. So when watching TV in its Activity mode the volume control works my A/V Receiver versus when I have the TV selected as a Device which enables Volume for the TV itself.
I downloaded some TV Network logos for the first page of my TV channel favorites and as far as I can tell, you can have pretty much unlimited "Pages" on the touch screen. My Yamaha RX-V3800 Receiver came with 17 pages by default, but I deleted a bunch of them I'll never use such as XM Radio and Network commands etc. One nit regarding using the "Favorites" function on the Touch Screen is the slowness of channel changing. However, there is a workaround whereby you start by adjusting the Inter-key and Inter-Device delays. But if you have a million cable or satellite channels the convenience of entering a Favorite Channel by touching its logo more than offsets the rather slow default channel changing time.
You can even put on a custom 30 second or so slide-show of your personal pictures for when it's charging in the stand. As the title of my review says, it does rival the "fun factor" of the latest tech devices such as iPod touch and the like.
