Linksys' Ultra RangePlus Wireless-N Broadband Router is actually three devices in one box. First, there's the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect to the network without wires. There's also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 Switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together. Finally, the Router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection.

I have purchased this item about 1 month ago and so far I had no problem with it. I sat Encryption as WEP and worked fine. I couldn't set the other encryption method and still not sure if it was because of a problem with my laptop's wireless card or something to do with the router.
My home has a small area and I use it only for one connection so I can not tell anything about range or simultanious connections.

We received this router and our wireless speeds went from 6 MBPS to 26 MPBS, just by replacing our old router (We're on the G frequency). It came packaged nicely and worked right out of the box. The provided interface to get it all set up is a little cumbersome, so I completed it manually through the IP; but other than this it is a fantastic router.

I had problems with this router in relation to my son's Xbox 360. The router set up fine for networking with my laptop and desktop. Everything worked fine (and if that is your only need, this router will be a good choice). But then I had fits trying to get it to connect with Xbox Live.

I was on the phone with technical support at least four times trying to rectify the problem. I was tweaking IPN settings, port forwarding ranges, and all manners of router techno jargon. In fact, it became a challenge to make the thing work! But alas, Linksys told me that they offered all the help they could and tried to pass me along to a "paid support service." They wanted $32.95 to help and at that point I knew that the router was going back in the box to be returned to Amazon. Fortunately, Amazon has a really good return policy and so this was no problem.

I replaced the Linksys router with a D-Link router and I was ready to go on computers and XBox within about an hour. Says something to me about Linksys.

I kept getting the message "error 302:internal error" while running set-up. I downloaded the updated firmware and set-up software from [...] and was then able to complete set-up. I love the range, sleek design, ease of use, and price. This was a great bargain.

This router is exceptional in performance. It has not had any problems with connecting to any of my devices. Primary setup is extremely easy. I have had problems with my old Netgear WGR614 router such as when printing, the connection would constantly drop. With this router, the connection is never dropped with the printer and printing is as least 3 times as fast. I'm very pleased with this router and wont be upgrading for a while. Even though it is refurbished, it came looking brand new and is solid product.
