If you are going to be in a hurry for transferring lots of data, go with something else. I notice it trasfers about 2mb/second. Yes. That slow. Its great it blends in on my keychain and it's durable enough to stay on my keychain but a pain in the rear when I am in a hurry and even when im not in a hurry.

I see some people report that this device is slow. But the question is, does this really matter that much on a flash drive anyway? 99% of us aren't transferring huge documents back and forth all day long. The speed is fine. The bottom line here is, this drive is GORGEOUS. When it is in your hand you will see that it really is what it appears to be in the pictures. It is a solid, sturdy piece of shiny metal. You can't go wrong.

This Usb key is very cool, and convenient. From now on, it will be on my keychain forever. The only minor drawback of this usb flash drive key is that the transfer rate is pretty slow, but the outstanding design undermines that little weakness. I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought this key about 7 months ago and have had it on my keychain ever since. It has taken a pretty good amount of abuse so far. I lost the little plastic cap about 2-3 months in (which I fully expected to do) but the key is fine without it. The only thing I've noticed is that the seam which holds the front and back of the key together has begun to open just a tiny bit on the upper part of the lower section (below the part you'd hold with your fingers, on the actual 'key' section). I can squeeze it closed, but the fact that it has widened slightly has not affected the drive at all.
I would recommend this drive to anyone looking for a quick way to store files on the go. It's plenty durable, and it hides away in your keys so you don't have to make a conscious effort to make sure you've got your thumb drive with you at all times.

The imamakey 8 gb is a reasonably fast and robust flash drive that sets up a distinctive image on the desktop. It is difficult to forget when attached to a key chain.
Although the USB contact works well when plugged directly into a computer, it is so thin that electrical contact is uncertain when used with a typical USB extension or hub.
