I've played the Hoyle card game and found it a lot of fun. This game though was a total disappointment. First off, nothing has been updated, at least not by anything notable. The Hoyle Bucks catalog is the same as the one for their card game. You'd think they could come up with some new desktop decor and other items, instead it's a copy & paste for this game.
Then, try playing the Anagram game. In addition to making up words, sometimes a word will be accepted, sometimes not. It changes each game. It's frustrating!
I would never recommend this game. It's not worth the $20.00 - maybe in the $5 bin it would be understandable, but at $20 it's a total waste of your money.

This works just as well as promised.
Yes, the graphics are a bit clunky, but it's a great way to learn board games, as well as play by oneself.
HINT: Copy the DVD contents to your hard drive, and you don't need to load the disc each time you want to play.

I am running this set of games with Vista. It often ignores commands, does not respond. I have given up playing some games because I have had to repeat moves so often. I have 2 other Hoyle games with which I have no problem.

I think HOYLE has lost it this time - I find it difficult to play the games - they make the moves for you and will NOT allow you to do differently - sound effets on some games are annoying to the max and the only way to get rid of them is to get rid of the sound. - I have purchased this 2 (two) times hoping that that it was just me or my computer. I have gone back to using a Hoyle disc about 5 yearas old. Do NOT care for the "special" games
