   This is the least expensive UVC compatible USB2.0 webcam that I have found online - it even undercuts some no-name no-support imports. The beauty of UVC compatible webcams is that they are Macintosh compatible out of the box with no drivers or hacks required. OSX from 10.4.9 onwards has built in UVC (USB Video Class) drivers and this camera is very highly rated for image and audio quality at the list price of $50, and a total steal at the Amazon price of $20! 10.6 killed iUSBCam (iChatUSBCam) compatibility in iChat - so this is a totally viable option for people with MacPros or MacMinis who don't have a built in camera or an iSight.

   Works very good. Was easy to set up. This is my first web cam and everything set up and worked on the first try. Software was easy to use. I didn't even read the directions. Amazon got me an excellent price and the delivery was very good. I'm not sure about the sound quality but the person on the other end did not complain.

   I love this little camera!
   I first tried using my Cannon camera to do a video lesson (I am a student teacher), but it cut off and the quality was not so great. I was not looking for perfection in my recording, just something to use to reflect back on. When I ordered the hp web cam my intentions were to use it for Skype (which I have and it worked great), but then I thought I'd try to record with it. WOW! It was so easy to use and had so many creative features.
   I have recommended this product to all my family and friends. For the price, you get way more than you paid for.

   I just purchased this camera, and it's been great so far. I am using a Mac, so nothing on the CD works, which is a shame, because it looks like it has really cool stuff on there. You seriously plug it in, and it just works. Perfect for Skype, MSN, etc. Takes pretty nice still pictures too, if you don't have a digital camera. Also, it works well even without optimal lighting conditions. LOVE IT!

   I had several employees test this webcam and compare and contrast it to a couple of Microsoft products. The HP product won hands down and you can't beat the price, especially for an order of 100!
