I just got this cable to hook up a little nettop over to my TV. I didn't want to go though a big deal and buy and HDMI card for it then an HDMI cable. For now, I just wanted a cheaper alternative than buying its own dedicated monitor. Why not hook it up to my TV? Alright, let's go find a cheap little cable that I don't have to pay all the extra money for some features that I don't need or doesn't even work. I stumbled upon this little cable, just a few extra bucks than a six foot cable. Eh... Go ahead! I bought it not expecting for the quality of this to be so good. When I first got it in the mail it was prertty darn heavy for just a VGA cable. I opened up the bag and the gauge of the wire was very impressive.
I hooked it up real quick just to see how it worked and it was outstanding! Okay, now we need to organize everything so the cable doesn't show. I put the computer on one corneer of my room and hooked it up to my HDTV over at the other corner. I noticed a little gray line and some static in the audio. Hmm... I don't remember that happening when I first hooked it up. Well, the only thing that changed was the outlet that it was in. I got an extention cord from my surge supressor to the computer then fired the computer back up. The image was prefectly clear and the audio nice and crisp. Guess that little filter in that supressor really does work. Now I have a wireless mouse and keyboard so I can surf the net or work on some projects anywhere in my room. I love what this little cable has done, and with that quility I'm sure it'll be running for a good long time.

These cables effectively allowed computer images and sound to show on my HD TV from my Ibook. The sound is very good while the picture is not what one receives over the air but certainly good and entertaining. I recommend this connection and there is no reason to purchase $40 cables as i see it.

As soon as I got it I put it to use and it works great. I use it on a Sony Vizio 36" LCD TV and a Toshiba Laptop and I can watch whatever I want. The cord came in fast and it was wrap brand new, easy to use and it work like the info said. I recommend this to anyone that wants to use their TV as a monitor.

Ah! I've been looking for a cable that had SVGA and Male Stereo heads. It worked great! Also got it in two days. Great quality and worth every penny!

As I said works pretty well. Only problem is that when I watch certain things on the television it appears a little laggy, but I suspect that is due to some failing on the part of the makers of i-tunes and/or quicktime. Also, the audio cable couldn't quite reach the headphone jack on my laptop, but an inexpensive extender solved that problem easily.
