Although I don't think it's truly made of leather, this case is a nice home for my Garmin nuvi 855 when its not on my Garmin Portable Friction Mount. The GPS unit fits nice and snug and the magnetic strap fastens securely. A spare battery and memory card fits well in the outer pocket. There is a little cushioning, but not enough to adequately protect the unit if it is sat on or dropped on the pavement. If you need that, get a hard case. Overall, a great case for the price.

I bought this case at the same time that I purchased my Garmin nuvi 265WT. I knew that I was not going to be leaving my GPS in my car all the time, so I bought the case to protect my GPS while it was in my purse. The case fits the GPS perfectly (not too tight, not too loose) and the strap keeps the GPS securely in the case.

I'm satisfied with what I got and what I paid. It may not be real leather but it looks good and preforms it function very nicely. Arrived quickly and in excellent condition.

I have now bought two of these cases for Garmin 255W systems. I have one and my dad does now too. It has a nice fit, the magnetic latch holds tight but is still easy to open and the system slips in and out easily. It does a good job protecting the screen and back for when you throw it in a bag or the glove box. I highly recommend this case.
