the camera is nice, small, good to the touch, the pictures are good. the only thing i didn't like was that it doesn't have a lot of features, for example the red light( lacier )on the front of the camera. that helps when you want to take pictures at a club or some where dark. the other thing i didn't like was the shipping, i pick the free 5-9 days but it took about 17 days for it to deliver. so if you want it for a special occasion try to pick the one or two day. after all the camera is good, for the money, but i would like it to have more features.

This camera is the best digital camera I've come across, particularly at the price point I bought. It is easy to master, including interface with my PC to store pics. Picture quality is excellent.

My husband is bad at taking pictures. Really bad. I am not talking about cutting off heads, that I could handle. He just cannot take a clear or properly lit picture. The FinePix J28 helps out...a LOT!
He has another camera that is pretty good, too. The only differences between these two is 1.) Price and 2.) Resolution. However, in both cases the differences are really small. $20 price difference for 2 extra megapixels? Not really noticeable.
This camera seems to have all of the standard features: optical zoom, face detection, auto-stabilization. I really did not find anything here that made it stand out.
Over all: This is a standard compact digital camera. If that is what you need, then this should fit the bill. However, if you are looking for something more "high end", you'd be better off looking at more expensive models.
I am rating this 4 stars as compared to other, similar cameras. It doesn't really stand out, but it doesn't fall behind either. And the price helps up the rating a bit too, for this pricepoint, it's a great camera.

I received my camera a couple days ago..I was a bit worried initially about purchasing this brand of camera but went with the reviews. The quality of pictures are breath taking, easy to use not very complicated..
I had issues with the fact that the in the box user manual was not in depth and I had to use the cd to read the full manual. also the internal memory is not much. To benefit the most a memory card is a good buy.

This camera is so easy to use right out of the box, takes great pictures and has more than enough settings to satisfy anyone. Taking the panoramic views has to be the highlight of this camera, very easy to do and the pictures even at night turn out awesome. The only thing I have to complain about is that just bought this camera a week ago and Amazon dropped the price $30.
