Corel PaintShop Photo Express 2010 is easy to install and easy to use. I've used Picasa for years. Corel has several additional qualities that make processing your pics even better. Along with retouching photos you can fix red-eye, crop, and edit with ease. Better than Picasa, however is Corel's print at home function. You can also burn photos to DVD and post photo slideshows directly to YouTube, Facebook and Flickr. If you take and share lots of pics, this is definitely a good investment!

I'm not the most sofware savvy person around, so I was very pleased with how simple this program is, easy to use right out of the box. I also have Photoshop on my computer and I must say, I'm usually overwhelmed with it, I feel like I need an instructor to explain everything to me, and I know I'm not using it to its potential, simply because I can't figure everything out on my own. Corel PaintShop Photo Express is much more straightforward and extremely user friendly, even for someone as computer challenged as myself. It only takes minutes to upload your photos and view and organize them as you choose. You can download from your memory card, camera, or mobile phone. The editing software is simple, you can fix and improve photos with the touch of a button. Crop, rotate, sharpen, remove red eye, even whiten teeth. There are plenty of fun tools for embellishing your photos, like frames, filters for black and whites, sepia tones, etc. There are creative projects for making cards, collages, calendars, and photo albums. Printing photos of many sizes with professional looking results is quick and easy. PaintShop Express is not limited to just still photos, there are lots of things to do with videos as well. You can upload your photos and video projects to YouTube, Flickr, Facebook and email quickly with automatic photo resizing. The software also lets you burn cds and dvds to give as gifts or for storage. I would highly recommend this to people who want a simple, easy to use program with fun features. I do intend to learn how to use PhotoShop one day, but in the meantime, I'm very satisfied with PaintShop Express and I'll get a great deal of use out of it.

I don't use photo shop software often and I don't need a lot of features. Because I use it infrequently, I need the software to be simple to use, with basic features. This year I created my annual Christmas card with this new package, starting & finishing immediately after installing the software. This proves it was simple to use & had all the basic features I needed.
I especially liked the "make over" tools --- I was able the erase the date/time on the photo I wanted to use on my card with ease and the results were great. I also used the "send to" feature once the card was done to get the card printed professionally. Though pricey, the results were top quality.
On the down side, I found the project / greeting card style choices limited. I'll have to explore more to see if I can add or create more styles - but fitting with my "be simple" requirement, I'd rather not have to do that.
All in all, this software package is adequate for basic use.

this is a slight different from the paintshop program I been using for my digital art etc. This one is more distinctively for photos. I like it so many different things you can do create, burn,share on youtube, facebook flickr, email. you can upload photos to the program in a variety of ways scanner,webcam,etc. There are a lot of nice features with this program. Like under the create menu there is ability to create collages,calenders. Under the print program there is an ability to create prints, and even labels for cdrs and dvdrs which is handy for us with lightscribe on our burners. I like this software better then the software that was packed with my Kodak printer.so much possibilities for creativity that it would be excellent for us around the holidays who give out homemade gifts from the heart also.I don't wanna put to many spoilers in here so will leave it at this ,a very cool and fun software. I been using paintshop pro for my artwork for years so I knew what to expect good features and such.

The price is decent enough for this basic image editing software. I would liken it to the caliber of PhotoImpression or PictureIt.
I'm not that computer savvy, but it seemed fairly self explanitory to load and use.
I don't need a lot of special effects. I just like having software that will help clean-up my photos, get rid of red eye, etc. This seemed to fit the bill. However, if you are looking for something more advanced, you might look elsewhere.
