Very good game, engaging multipayer, in-depth campaign, many, many weapons. The best FPS at the time.
If you like this game, definitely think about getting the sequel, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Nothing ever feels like something i wanna play unless its call of duty or it at least plays like it. Ever since it came out i havent stopped craving it. i had a period in time when i dreamt about it constantly. MW2 is probably gonna kill me or ruin my life....

I had this game on my PS3 and I sold the whole bunch of games with my older PS3 to get the new one and I am reordering it again and it's the best online game as it's always different and it's always fun to play.
There are so many options of guns and places to go that this game keeps you busy for weeks! I got the World of war but didn't like it as much since the guns here are more powerfull and more fun to play with.
I am getting the new game too hopefully it's as fun I did have the upgraded maps but there is some more options here that I am dying to try!

I already own this game on the XBOX 360, and have paid for the additional maps. Recently, I purchased a PS3, and bought this game (again) to play with my friends on the PSNetwork. As some of the others here have mentioned, this version does not come with a token to download the maps. It's only $10, but I feel like Activision has scammed the consumers. When this Game Of The Year Edition came out, it came with a code to download the map. Meanwhile, they've quietly pulled the download token from the boxes, while most everyone - including me, believed that this version contains said token.
