    I'm very impressed with the look, feel, and function of this gaming mouse.
    It is very comfortable, even for my small-ish hands. (it is designed for slightly larger hands)

    I upgraded from a Logitech G9, and here are some things I miss/downgrades:
    * Changeable scroll wheel behavior; The G9 allows you to make the scroll wheel free scrolling with no friction, or click scrolling for more precision. I really miss the free scroll as it allowed me to scroll long webpages and pdf documents much more efficiently.
    * Changeable body; Not a big deal, but I preferred the smaller, rougher body on the G9.
    * Tilt left and right on the scroll wheel; I really never used these anyway, so I don't miss it that much.
    * Quieter clicks; The CM Storm Sentinel has some loud click switches, especially on the side thumb buttons. The scroll wheel is also a lot harder to click down than many other mice I have used, but that may just take some time to "break in"

    Everything else is an improvement:
    * 5600DPI
    * OLED DPI display!
    * Very nice driver suite with macro support and customizable color display.
    * Looks amazing

    It also has the features that have become standard on any proper gaming mouse:
    * Braided cable; I can't go back to regular cords after this
    * Adjustable dpi on the fly
    * onboard memory to store profiles

    In conclusion, if I could just mod the scroll wheel and replace it with the Logitech G9 version, this mouse would be 100% PERFECT for me.

    Just got this mouse today after very fast shipping from [...]. I have to say this is an EXCELLENT mouse, having all the features of it's competition from Logitech and Razer, plus more. The mouse functions perfectly with a very nice software control panel, and it is perfect in terms of comfort, usability, and features as compared to other mice in the price range. Great dpi customization option, weight calibration, and macro control that you also get with the competition.

    Where this mouse really shines and sets itself apart is in the design and aesthetics, the octo-shade led's and the many settings you can use with them make this mouse incredibly fun and sexy. It is probably the most stylish part of my system, and it is up against some stiff competition next to my thin Logitech Illuminated keyboard (Another excellent looking product). The custom logo you get you upload on the little 32x32 screen is a really fun feature which I hope to see developed further. I am a real sucker for customization and LED's and these are the factors that swung me towards this mouse (I was looking at logitech G9, G500, mx518, Razer mice, Steel Series mice).

    Compared to other gaming mice, you simply get more features for the price. I bought this for under MSRP at 42.99, but even at MSRP it still beats out the competition from Logitech and Razer.

    There are a few things which should be considered. This mouse is definitely FPS focused, with just the standard 2 side buttons and a scroll wheel, with quick buttons for changing dpi settings on the fly and changing to different profiles (the color changes along with it, which is awesome). These are important features for serious FPS gaming but would probably be found quite trivial for people who play World of Warcraft primarily, who need more buttons on the mouse to bind keys to. There are MMO mice with tons of buttons which will serve those games better, but for FPS and non MMO gaming this mouse is in the upper echelon.

    Note: I had a logitech laser mouse for 3.5years before the left click stopped registering half the time. I have no problem with logitech but CoolerMaster is really giving them a run for their money. The only relevant thing I could discern that logitech did better was the micro-gear adjustment on the scroll wheel, where you could adjust it to near frictionless scrolling for long documents. I got used to the microgear and definitely wish the Sentinel Advance had something like it, but I always had to turn it off while gaming anyways so it is not a function you want to use while gaming, just for specific situations. Because of this fact, I think it is a sacrifice that is not too hard to make (I just turned up the number of lines the wheel scrolls with through Windows 7 to compensate).

    I have no problems recommending this mouse to anyone. I've only been using it for a day so I can't really speak on durability, but I haven't been this excited about a hardware purchase since I built my entire tower.

    Help combat the sacrilege of control that is wireless mice! Get this today! But if you think LED's and stuff are childish or gaudy, a Logitech, Razer, or Steel Series mouse will do you fine. But if you want a mouse that was clearly engineered to suit the very specific desires of the hardcore gamer who likes his hardware to flash pretty colors, you don't have any excuse not to get this. They did not skimp on the hardware and features just to make a pretty product, this mouse is legit.

    First of all let me just say I have been gaming with a Logitech MX518 for about 6 years now and never thought about upgrading my mouse. Then I see the add for this mouse in a magazine and was very interested in what this mouse had to offer. Did my extensive research and found out that is was a very well balanced good looking mouse. I have a large hand and this fits perfect (right handed). It is slightly longer than the MX518. I have complied a simple list of pros and cons so you can decide for yourself.

    Pros:
    1. Price was right and didn't break the bank like some other gaming mice I know of
    2. This thing is super customizable everything from lighting, rapid fire mode, your own digital logo, you name it and it will deliver
    3. Super accuracy and tracking, I can blow on the mouse and it will sense the vibrations
    4. The program it comes with is simple and easy to use
    5. Awesome looking mouse, I would recommend this to all my friends

    Cons:
    1. Gets dirty very easily (just clean it off)
    2. You have to find the instructions online at [...]

    Very nice gaming mouse. I initially had the Logitech MX518 and found it a little bit too light. Nothing wrong with it, just needed a mouse with weight adjustments. I was tired of the Logitech Vs. Razer comparisons and wanted a different company to go with this time. I saw reviews of the Coolermaster Sentinel and it fit my criterias. I have so far used the Sentinel for COD4, Crysis, Half-Life 2, Warhammer II, Quake Wars: Enemy Territories, The Witcher, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Left4Dead, FEAR 2, Dead Space, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Assassin's Creed, Unreal Tournament, Prototype and so on. As you can see, I tested the mouse on all types of genres from FPS, RPG, RTS (sorry no MMO) and so forth. It is responsive and you can adjust on the fly, provided that you set the profile in advance. You can't go wrong with this mouse.

    I have read many reviews and wanted to determine which was the best mouse overall for gaming and have compared this with Logitech's G9X and have found the CM Storm to be the mouse to have. I have read the specs on this mouse and is very comparable with the G9 but with more added features. I have not recieved it yet but from my understanding of all the reviews I have read this is the mouse to have. I have owned and trusted Logitech with their products but just couldn't resist wanting to get this mouse after reading all the reviews.
