I think it could be better if this Atari Flashback would have all the Atari 2600 games which is even more amusing than 40 Atari 2600 games. This includes hard-to-find Atari 2600 games. I think this is a suggestion that should be done so more Atari fans would love to play all the Atari 2600 Games. Perhaps maybe a list of all the Atari 2600 games should be listed.

This is a fun trip down memory lane. It's funny to look at these games with what we know about video games now. So much fun back then... A lot of fun now, too, but just don't have the same appeal they once did, not that we have seen there is more to the genre.

This is definitely something that will bring back a lot of memories and is enjoyable. It's a more authentic experience than software for other computers. If you're looking for that, it's worth a shot.

It's glad to see some Atari 2600 games are back! Like many other players, this is where I got my start. And surprisingly, many of these games are still as addictive as ever. I really love Haunted House, Maze Craze, Adventure, Centipede, Millipede, Aquaventure, Missile Command, Off the Wall, Pitfall, and River Raid.

Okay, time to get down to the facts, the Flashback 2.0 has many games built-in it. However, your old cartages can't be used on this system as there is no cartage slot. The good news is this system can be hooked up to your TV via A/V cord for superior picture and sound than the original RF adapter Atari 2600. The system looks really good and even allows you to play the games in black & white like the original! Also, the Flashback 2.0 comes with two awesome replicas of the original Atari controllers, but these even surpass the oldies in comfort.

In closing, this a GOOD trip down memory lane. However, it's not a GREAT trip down memory lane as I said there are too many strange choices of games. For instance, instead of using the original Asteroids they include an inferior version called Arcade Asteroids and the Pong game doesn't even work - Serious! They include a decent amount of "homebrew" games from recent years, but a fair amount of them aren't that fun. Also, there are too few Actvision games included.

TOP SECRET INFORMATION: THERE ARE TWO HIDDEN PADDLE GAMES ON THE FLASHBACK 2.0!

To unlock Warlords and Super Breakout spell out the year "1972" on the first screen by pressing UP once, DOWN nine times, UP seven times, and DOWN two times. However, to play these games you will need the paddle controller which is not included, but can be found pretty easily online.

The Atari Flashback 2.0 is a blast. I gave this to my husband for Christmas. He had no idea this even existed. It was super easy to set up, just plug in and play. Another great feature is the built in games. You don't have to worry about finding games or storing them. For the price, the nostalgia is absolutely worth it.

I grew up with Atari 2600, and when the system got too dated and unrepairable I parted ways with the poor thing. But even today I still get wistful about Yar's Revenge. Sigh.

With this Flashback, I got along with it some of the classic games from both Atari and Activision (River Raid! Pitfall!), and a lot of these were games I loved.

The best things about this system are:
    1) No cartridges to lose. All games are within the system.
    2) A lot of the games I like. Adventure and Yar's are two of them.
    3) the classic joysticks, but with a literal twist. The grip rotates, so the paddle games are playable.

This game did have a few drawbacks however:
    1) Not all of the games I loved are on here. I had a personal liking for the Superman game, for example, and I don't see it on here. It'd have been nice if there was a slot where we could plug in an add-on device of more games (not a cartridge, but a platform the console could sit on for example with more games in it).
    2) They didn't add an extra button or command that would let you exit the game you're in and go back to the game menu. You have to turn it off, turn it on to get back to the menu. While it's the same as when you had cartridges to plug in/remove, with this device it's unneeded. They should have thought ahead on that.

Overall, the love of the games will keep me playing with a grin on me face.
