This game is one of the best games I've ever played. People have already mentioned the graphics, and the recreations of Italy, so I'll tell you about the art. They included so much art, it's amazing. There's all kinds of cryptograms and mysteries...a million different things to do... PLUS there's the main story, which is great. This game is everything and much much more than I hoped it would be.

Just FYI. Never played part one. PS3 version.
Controls - You just needed to make your adjustments learning on the go. Simple enough. Experiment and it will be easy to play as you continue the game
Graphics - Good enough given how big the environment is. Play on 37' lcd and have no gripes with details. Not expecting myself to be hardcore and want the wood or stone to look real life.
Game Length - Playing off/on; but really trying to get 100% completion of the game. After a week of playing, barely collected 20-30% of objects. Good enough for like $50 I paid for the game. Comparing to the new Ratch & Clank witch I beat in 4-5 days and had about 80% completion.
Small Gripes - (1)I prefer a sneak action or something when assasinating enemy from behind. Just walking up slowly doesn't give it a same effect
(2) Tackle a thief seems buggy. Pressing 'O' near the thief doesn't work all times (Probably try different strategy again later)
(3) I was stealing, hiring distraction groups, reaching viewpoints, etc long before the storyline actually explains how to do it. Figured it out myself as I was doing randomness things. So storyline sort of retro active and takes away the forward progress of the game. Like the 2 steps forward 1 step back analogy.

All I can say is WOW! By far one of the best video game experiences ever. Extremely entertaining and impressive. I can't say much about this game that hasn't been said by other reviewers, but if you own a gaming platform, you owe it to yourself to pick this one up. WOW!!!

When I buy a game, I look for an experience, and this game delivers with high notes. I have had the pleasure of being in Florence and Venice and when I got this game I was curious of how Ubisoft recreated both cities in the Renaissance, and let me tell you, they put a lot of effort on it and when you are walking on those cities, they look real (I know I have nothing to compare against but the current cities). Yes, the controls are a little bit clumsy, but I really do not know how they can make them better, you have to accept that in an environment with so many things in your surroundings.
If you want a 5 star experience, this game is definitively for you.

I thought Assassin's Creed 2 would be a better game but it's the same quality like the first one. Movements still really awkwards for both Ezio and NPCs. You can see the crowds doing exactly the same thing. This game is basically Assasin's Creed 1 at different year and different costume. Sure Ezio can wield 2 weapons and have extra ability but I don't see any other significant improvements. Why would you hold R2 and X the same time just to run really fast? I've played inFamous and Cole moves more fluid than Ezio. Don't spend $59.99 to get this game. Rent it first and prove me wrong.
