2 tools and adhesive NOT INCLUDED. Good price for glass and digitizer -- so if you have adhesive & tools already then this is a good buy. I chose this one because it appeared to have everything I'd need to repair my phone.
Broke my iphone glass on Thursday morning. Ordered this item overnight and received it on Friday. I don't normally trust 3rd party sellers for overnights but this one said 'amazon fulfillment' so I went for it.
The product description currently says "Apple Iphone 3G Replacement Front Glass and Digitizer - 2 tools and adhesive - Repair your cracked glass".
The package contained only the digitizer and glass (in perfect condition and well packaged)... But without the adhesive you are hosed. So now I have an iPhone with the glass scotch taped on until I can find some suitable double-sided tape...
When I called Amazon customer service, they offered a refund if I send it back in -- but it is already in my phone. I mistakenly thought the adhesive was under the removable plastic coverings but it was not.
I suggested that Amazon check their inventory and verify that it does match the product description, but this guy was offshore somewhere and could apparently care less about proactively preventing future customer frustration.
Oh well... I should have heeded the prior negative feedback.

Well, this product came with no tools or adhesive. I was put on hold by customer service with the call dropped each time. No they never did get back to me...but here's an update. It's true, I never got the tools or adhesive. Just make sure you watch the videos and don't even start scraping out the old glass and digitizer without lots of heat from a blow dryer. Be patient. I just picked up some two sided sticky tape at an office supply store and cut my own to size. The tools here are useless. Hemostats and a cheap set of precision screwdrivers work great. The key is heat. My iphone's like new again!!!
If I could, I'd change my rating to 4.5 stars...

No big deal though. I still managed the put the gasket (for whatever is left of it) under the new screen. I don't really know what the big fuss is over keep the gasket intact, because I don't think the iPhone was designed to be used underwater.
I did, however, broke the LCD screen while trying to pull it out of the iPhone, but that was my fault. I had to order an LCD screen as well, but that's a story for another day.
The iPhone prying tool that you see in those youtube videos is really helpful. Unfortunately this screen doesn't come with it, which I think it should, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. The LCD screen replacement I ordered, however, did come with this tool.
Overall, if you are somewhat good with taking stuff apart and putting it back together, and watch the youtube videos before, and do it carefully, you can replace the screen yourself with this.

This replacement front glass and digitizer worked perfectly. The glass arrived well packaged and with pre-cut adhesive tape. This product does not come with instructions, but step-by-step instructions with pictures can be found [...].
It was not very difficult to install, but you need the right tools and you need to be patient. The whole process took me about an hour. The three things you will need are a phillips #00 screwdriver, an equally small flathead screwdriver, and a hairdryer.
The gentleman who gave this product a poor review is correct that this product does not come with the rubber gasket. However, no replacement glass from any company comes with that. It's actually part of the plastic frame that you will be attaching the new glass to with the adhesive tape. It can be difficult to remove the broken glass from the plastic frame, but if you use the hair dryer to loosen the adhesive on the broken glass, it should not take you very long to remove it and the rubber gasket will be just fine. I used the small screwdriver and a razor blade. Take your time.
Something else worth mentioning is that this glass comes with 5 protective films instead of just 2 (front and back). I was really impressed. You peel off a different protective film for each step of the reassembly process. That way, you don't get any dust, hair, or particles trapped in between your lcd and your glass.
This product is well made and I cannot tell the difference between it and my original one from Apple. If you can follow instructions well, this is the best and most cost effective way to fix your iphone glass.
