The standard Amazon Kindle cover is perfect for me. I like it. It does what it is supposed to do - opens Kindle to be read, and closes and protects Kindle's face when done. Nothing more - nothing less.
I guess there are better looking, more durable, softer, more padded and luxurious leather folders available. But at the price, I don't need anything more.
A word of caution though - don't force-open Kindle from the back cover. The hinges are not made for this angle of movement and will definitely damage Kindle if you force it - just read the forums - lots and lots of people are warning against this. I was lucky enough to read it before I received mine. :):)
This is NOT a reason to buy a different cover - just a note to self to be careful.

I didn't want to spend a lot of money on case, but wanted something to protect my Kindle and this works fine. Best value for the price. Highly recommended.

My husband bought me my kindle and cover and I absolutely love both! I had never heard of the Kindle before, but it fits me perfectly. The cover is a great way to protect my Kindle and it's screen. I have dropped it several times and the kindle has stayed in place.
I do have a bubble forming under the soft part inside but it's not big enough to worry about and it doesn't change the quality. I don't think.

LOVE IT! Knowing I am an avid reader, my husband suggested I might enjoy having a Kindle. To say I was skeptical would be an huge understatement. But I absolutely love having it (and haven't read a printed book since my purchase). My Kindle goes everywhere with me and I now enjoy reading even while waiting in line at the grocery store. The selection of books has not disappointed me, and the offering of FREE books for Kindle makes it very easy to try a new author.
