This is a great product and glad I bought two of them. One is for home and one for traveling after losing one while traveling. I like the added feature that it is a USB cord when I need that.

This was on back order from Amazon when I first needed it, so I ordered a non-proprietary replacement adapter from Charger City which I thought would arrive sooner. I spent the extra for expedited delivery - only to find that the replacement power adapter did not work at all. A complete waste of money and time. Fortunately I still had my Amazon Replacement Adapter on order and it shipped and arrived only a few days later. It works perfectly.
My advice: worth paying for the Amazon version of Kindle accessories.
