I got this a few weeks ago and I really like it. I have it hooked up via DVI-D and the picture is great. Its 10xs brighter than my Laptop screen. I'm even thinking of buying another to hook to my laptop. It doesnt have many controls but I dont really use them. I really just set the brightness and contrast to my liking and I am good to go let mr radeon card do the rest. But movies and Youtube(HQ) i think look great. The price is good also about $40 less than Best buy.

This 20" Acer monitor is replacing my old I-Inc 19". The colors are exceptionally varied and intense in the Acer (16.7 million) according to the stat sheets. With a 5ms refresh time there is no discernible "ghosting" of images. Finally it occurred to me that it was highly unlikely the stand would have no adjustment. There are two plastic covers on the back of the monitor that when removed reveal the hinge to adjust the tilt of the monitor. The Acer now sits on my desk at the proper angle to view the very good colors and sharp images it produces. So far, this is a very solid performer at a reasonable price. Just a word if I may about Amazon Prime; if you buy much from Amazon the modest charge per year to get free shipping on most of their products is in my opinion a very good deal. It may sound like I work for them but I don't. My wife tells me that my motto is: "Amazon.com and you're done." Actually that is quite accurate.

Worked perfectly until a week after the store policy expired. Then it went to a completely white screen. Since I need a monitor now, I just trashed it and went with another brand. That's my first and last time with Acer.

This monitor came packaged well with good documentation. It is well designed and solidly built not to mention attractive to look at. Good control/adjustment buttons. Pretty blue power light.
