I just replaced a fried, big old-fashioned CRT monitor with this ACER monitor.
Although it came with a CD-ROM for installation, I just plugged it in and turned it on. Didn't need to insert the CD.
I did need to tweak the computer to handle the resolution size of 1366x768 compared with the older 800X600, but that is not a reflection on the ease of installation and use of this monitor.
I am running WINDOWS, so I can't address MAC user issues with this product.
Effortless hook-up and really clear widescreen picture. Great value for the money!

This monitor is great for the price. for [...] I was not expecting a great item. I can watch my movies in wide screen and play videos in itunes... A step up from my rusty old crt monitor. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

I am very pleased with this acer monitor.
It doesn't throw off a lot of heat like my old one did.
I love the flat screen because it doesn't take up a lot of space
on my desk.
I did not have any missing pixels or screen issues.
It was easy to set up and color quality is excellent.
The only problem is that I did not know it would "stretch"
images because it is a wide screen.
My older computer needs some extra software to correct
this which I plan on doing.
The price was definitely worth it.

I bought this monitor to plug into my 17" laptop to expand the screen real estate. I'm running Windows 7 and it found the drivers and loaded them flawlessly. The picture is perfect and since I got the monitor on sale for $89 I know I got the better end of the deal.
