   I got this so I can play Final Fantasy 7 and 9 on my PS2. In the PS2 browser, it won't show up at all; FF9 detects it but cant format the card; and FF7 it says that there's no room on the card. i did all of my tests with 2 identical cards, with the same results in both cases.
   
   I got this card from 'sup-media', and it seemed like they were a really good vendor. They sent it out right away and sent me a second one (out of box) when it didn't work. Unfortunately the second one didn't work either.
   
   Its opinion that they are trying to sell defective merchandise, plus they use false advertising: the one I received is gray and labeled "Komodo - PS1 memory card 1 Mega/15 blocks. The one I ordered is supposed to be clear yellow...
   
   I'm going to try to get a refund and buy a different one.

   I agree with the general consensus here. I was feeling a bit nostalgic for some original Playstation Final Fantasy games, so I ordered Final Fantasy 9 and this memory card... Well, the game works just fine, but after playing for a few hours and saving my game, I return only to find that the memory card displays, "No FF9 Data". Great. Maybe just a glitch. No. I ran through the beginning portion of the game, saved five blocks of memory with this card, restarted, and... Same thing happened again.
   
   All this amounts to is a very strong recommendation from myself that YOU DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Seriously, it is complete garbage. I even tried to save some files for other original Playstation games that I had lying around before I wrote this negative review, but it was the same old song and dance all around.
   
   However, I am attempting to use this product with a Playstation 2, but that shouldn't really have been an issue, I don't think. The last memory card that I purchased (and lost, unfortunately) was for the PS1, and that never gave me any issues.
   
   All in all, this product is trash - literally.

   the memory card served its purpose for a few days but then deleted the files i put on it only a few days after not sure i would go with this brand again

   In short, it turns out that they don't make one that large (Without virtual pages, which has a small risk of data loss ).
   
   I bought this card expecting it to hold a megabyte (roughly 150 blocks).

   I got a BRAND NEW official PSX card though. And if that is what your shopping for, you can't argue the price !
   
   Here's where the misunderstanding takes place.:
   
   Mb and MB are two different units, in this case, Mb stands for megaBIT not megaBYTE. A megabit is 122, 125 or 128 kilobytes depending on the file system; the PSX/PS1 displays 122kb, with the other 6kb in cache.
